On February 1, 2012 Gloria E. Simpson (nee Knisley) of Laurel, MD; beloved wife of Roylan Simpson; devoted mother of Gloria Partel and her husband Howie, John Rhodes and his wife Mary, Debra Miller and her husband Rich, Susan Wessels and her husband Danny, Rose Rhodes, and Clarence Britton and his late wife Loretta; dear sister of Mildred and Nonnie; loving grandmother of John, Rosella, Brittney and Matthew Rhodes, Jennifer Alexander, Amy Miller, Christopher and Gracie Wessels, John and Nicholas Britton, Jackquetta Jacobs, Susan Alice Vollmerhausen and Elissa Partel. Also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
