Ida Elizabeth Pack

Ida Elizabeth Pack, age 83, of Pasadena, Maryland passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024; She was born on January 10, 1941 in Kentucky to parents, Woodrow W. and Oneda Castle (nee Crider); Beloved wife of the late Ernest Lloyd Pack; Loving mother of Michael Pack (wife Sandy), and the late Dixie Carol Pack, Anita Lynn Beeman, Patrick Lloyd Pack, Harvey William Pack; Cherished grandmother of Sandy (Jimmy), Tammy (the late O), Diana (Kelly), Marshall (Debbie), Tommy (Natalie), Jonny, Matthew, PJ, Chris (Brittany), Kelly (Kenny), Amanda, and Tori; Great-grandmother of Samantha, Alissa, Jillian, Marky, Tylar, Brendyn, Tamary, Cam, Delaney, T.J., Kaelynn, Kenneth, Karoline, Kelsie, Michael, and Jayden; Great-great-grandmother of Gracie, Adeline, Lochlan, Carter, Everleigh, Maya, Levi, and Aubree.

Ida had a lot of interests and hobbies. She loved making quilts, tending to her garden, and hunting for treasures at yard sales. Cooking was another passion, especially when it came to whipping up delicious cornbread fritters. Her granddaughter's angel food cake was a particular delight. Music played a big role in Ida's life, with favorites like Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and Reba McEntire. She also had a collection of bells that she cherished. Her pets, Bella the Pomeranian mix, and the dearly departed Snowball, meant a lot to her. Ida had a preference for Eagle Reds and 100's when it came to cigarettes. However, her ultimate joy came from spending time with her family. She especially loved the treat of spa days, where she could get her hair styled and nails polished, surrounded by the people she loved most.

A Visitation for Ida will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Burial will be Private.
