On December 13, 2020, Joan Louise Garlock (nee Norris) of Winchester, VA, formally of Jessup, MD, passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Joan was a devout Christian, last attending Braddrock St. Methodist Church and was an avid animal lover.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late John E. Garlock and the devoted mother of William D. Tyler and his wife Cora, Sandra Marshall and her husband John, JoAnne C. Long and her husband Forrest and Kenneth L. Tyler; cherished grandmother of April Aquila, James Fitzpatrick, Erin Tyler, Kyle Marshall, Kevin Tyler, Cara Marshall and Hannah Long and great-grandmother of Marisol and Sophia Aquila.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. A livestreamed Celebration of Joan’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 12:00pm. Please feel free to join the service through the Gary L.
