Joanne Henry, age 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Joanne was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on May 31, 1937. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Henry, and the oldest daughter of the late Earl Breshehan and Josepha Karas. Joanne graduated from nursing school in Wisconsin and had a long career as a Registered Nurse. Joanne was always an active member of the Catholic Church, eagerly volunteering to help others. She enjoyed family trips to the beach, square dancing, and reading. Joanne was an avid card player and crossword puzzle enthusiast. Loving mother of Tim Henry and his wife, Lynn, Monica Beck and her husband Ron, Brian Henry and his wife Bernadette, and Michael Henry and his wife Pam. Cherished grandmother of Ethan (wife Madeline), Shannon, Keely, Ryker, Maura, Deirdre, Kevin, Erin, Tyler, and Ashley. Joanne is preceded in death by her sister Connie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church, 7850 Parkside Blvd., Hanover, MD 21076., on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11:00 am.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joanne’s name to the American Cancer Society.
