

Linda Lou Dickerson, age 71, of Hanover, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2024. Born into the loving arms of Norman and Helen Grimes, Linda’s journey through life was one marked by warmth, resilience, and the love she shared with those around her.
Linda was the Beloved Wife of Burl C. Dickerson for 44 years, until his passing in August of 2016. Linda is predeceased by Husband Burl; Parents Norman and Helen Grimes; Siblings Robert (Nancy) Grimes, James Grimes, and Carol Tracey. Linda is survived by Loving Children Joyce Dickerson and Jeffrey (Tracy) Dickerson, Sr.; Dear Siblings Judy (Robert) Rhinehart, Walter (Kathleen) Grimes, Jerry (Linda) Grimes, Donald (Sheryl) Grimes, Kenneth (Susan) Grimes, and siblings-in-law Shirley Grimes and Charles Tracey; Cherished Grandchildren Samantha, Anthony, Jeffrey Jr., Jenna, Julia, Carter, Gabriella, Annabelle, Branden, Brysen, Harley, Dylan, and Rylan; Great-Grandson Jaxon and soon to be Great-Granddaughter, Kenna; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda’s love for her family was immeasurable, and she was a pillar of strength, support, and unconditional love for all who were blessed to know her. Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life – playing Bunco with friends, losing herself in a good book, completing puzzles, indulging in classic westerns, and cooking meals that brought her family together. Her love for yellow roses reflected her optimistic outlook and the brightness she brought to every room. Linda also contributed her skills and warmth part-time as an office assistant at Helm Point Solutions, where she was valued and loved by her colleagues.
A memorial gathering to honor and celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately afterwards, at 12:00PM at the same location.
