On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, Melvin Leroy Kane, Sr. "Mel & " Pop Pop" of Elkridge, MD. Beloved husband of Shirley A. Kane. loving father of Janet L. Ross and her husband Terry, Elaine G. Crispell and her partner Loretta, Melvin "Lee" Kane, Jr., Michael A. Kane and his wife Johanna, Joseph E. Kane and his partner Kelly and Kimberley Kane. Brother of Nancy Bulson and JoAnne Marshall. Grandfather of TJ, Rachel, Joe, Jr., Samantha, Michael, Jr., Melissa, Jesse, Justin, Kristin and Eric. He is also survived by his great-granddaughter Lexi, many nieces and nephews and his loving pet "Button" and granddogs; Teddy, Lyla, Riley, Callie & Ringo.

Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 ( exit 6 off Rt. 100) on Thursday from 5 to 9 pm where Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:00 am. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
