Michael Charles Wilbourne

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Michael Charles Wilbourne of Columbia, Maryland. Mike was born in Baltimore and raised in Pasadena. He was a proud graduate of Mt. St. Joseph High School where he enjoyed athletics, including football and wrestling, a passion that stayed with him throughout his life.

Mike spent 20 years working for Lucky's Superette and quickly became a staple in the Pasadena Community. Mike pursued massage therapy and found his calling helping others rehabilitate and heal.

You could find Mike in the outdoors fishing, hunting or just enjoying all that nature had to offer. Above all else, Mike loved and cherished his family.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Staci Wilbourne of MD, his beloved mother, Genevieve Wilbourne of MD and his devoted children, Rick Wilbourne (Jenny) of NH and Carley Wilbourne (Aaron Hagerman) of MD; cherished grandfather of Isabel and Norah Wilbourne and Parker Hagerman; dear brother of Jimmy Wilbourne (Terri) of WV, Ed Wilbourne (Sharon) of NC, Frank Wilbourne (Angie Labrado) of MD and Mary Lachemann (Tim) of MD; son-in-law of Jeff and Evie Raschal of NJ and brother-in-law of Lori and Marc Adair of NJ and Marci and Josh Slovin of MA. Mike is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly as well as long-term clients who became friends, and friends who became family. Mike is predeceased by his father.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Service will begin. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, Mike's family wishes donations to be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
