Dr. Rolando "Rolly" Fulgencio del Rosario, MD

On Wednesday, June 10, 2015, Rolando “Rolly” Fulgencio del Rosario, MD, of Deal Island, MD, formerly of Columbia, MD. Beloved husband of Andrea K. del Rosario. Loving father of Rolando S. del Rosario and his wife Maria Theresa, Gabriel M. Gundersen and his wife Robin and Alexander M. del Rosario and his fiancé Julia. Brother of Elmo, Norris and J-Roel del Rosario and the late Nilo del Rosario. Grandfather of Jose Miguel, Maria Daniella, Griffin, Gretchen and Grayson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dr. del Rosario graduated from the Far Eastern University Medical School in 1963. He came to Baltimore, MD and completed his training in General Surgery at Franklin Square and St. Agnes Hospitals. He also served as a surgeon, Emergency Room physician, and Occupational Medicine physician in various hospitals in the Baltimore area. In addition, Dr. del Rosario served in the Public Health Service at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was an avid fan of sports, music, and especially fishing.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a “Time of Friendship” at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off Rt. 100) on Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, June 19, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Elkridge, MD at 10:00 am. Inurnment Private.
