Rosemary (Rosie/Rosebud) Sharon Eisler-Ford of Jessup, Maryland passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 26th, 2023, at the age of 78. She was born on March 3rd, 1945, in Washington, D.C. to her late parents, Lawrence Eisler and Bertha Catherine Howard-Eisler. She is predeceased by her brother James Eisler and nephew Mark Olson. Rosemary was an amazing and loving mother to John Ford, Sharon Ford, and Anna (Ford) Dugan (Timothy); loving sister to Diane Mann (Harley), Patricia Olson (Russ), Frances Goodsite (Curtis), Maryann (Eisler) Gilliam, and David Eisler. Doting grandmother of Christopher, Liam, Aayden, and Konnor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rosemary loved her family so very much! If she could give them the world, she would! She absolutely loved to watch her Grandchildren grow and excel at their sport events or in school! Many things that Rosemary did, she never asked for notoriety. When Rosemary was younger, she was a Redskinette Cheerleader for 4 years (1964 - 1967). She was very proud of that accomplishment. She later became an alumna of the Redskin Football Cheerleaders Alumni Association and helped with countless charity events. Being a Navy wife earlier on, Rosemary traveled to Misawa, Japan twice. Before she left the 2nd time, she received an Airforce Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service. Another great accomplishment would be receiving The Clara Barton Honor Award for Meritorious Volunteer Leadership for The American Red Cross presented in Misawa Air Base, Japan May 1982-1984. For many, many years she would collect Build-A-Bears and self-deliver them to the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. She would collect school supplies and deliver them to schools. She would also donate to Walter Reed. She would collect eyeglasses and donate them to the Lions Club. Rosemary was an amazing person to be around as her laughter alone would light up a room. She always strived to make sure everyone was taken care of. She would look at the bright side of things instead of the negative. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and anyone she encountered through out her life.
Family and Friends are invited to visit at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD, 21075, on Friday, June 9, 2023, 5:00PM to 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on June 10, 2023, 10:00AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church, 5976 Old Washington Road, Elkridge, MD 21075. Burial will follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park. There will be a reception following the burial at the funeral home.
