Sandra Marie Hines

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jill, and son-in-law, Geoffrey McClenney; honorary son-in-law, Andre Rasberry; her two stepchildren, Lori Hines-Jones (Jesse) and Ken Hines (Anja); and her six cherished grandchildren: Lauren McClenney-Rosenstein (David), Christopher McClenney, Lamar Finch, Logan Finch (Karima), Linnell Finch, and Adrian Hines. She also leaves behind three treasured great-grandchildren, Larissa and Anya Rosenstein, and LJ Finch.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hines; her daughter, Kelly Bowman; her brother, Carson McDaniel; her grandson, Lloyd Finch; and her parents, Jack and Eleanor McDaniel.

She is also survived by a host of cousins, dear friends, and many caring individuals who were part of her life’s journey.

Sandra found great joy in gardening, puzzles, and playing the piano. She had a lifelong love of learning especially about different cultures and languages, and enjoyed reading, volunteer work with a focus on literacy, and warmly entertaining family and friends in her home.

A Graveside Inurnment will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 12:00PM at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075, Food and Fellowship will follow at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home in the Brumbaugh Room, 12:30PM to 2:30PM.
