

Stephen Paul Sieglein, 74, of Halethorpe, Maryland, passed away on December 25, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle whose warmth, humor, and love of family will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Toni Marie Sieglein. He was a loving stepfather to Paul Hagan (wife, Chardell Scott) and Randal K. Smelgus, and a proud grandfather to Levi Alexander Hagan.
He is also survived by his brothers, Jerome (Jerry) Anthony Sieglein and William Karl Sieglein (wife, Jane). He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rita Sieglein. He was lovingly raised by his stepmother, Beverly Sieglein, who survives him.
He leaves behind several cherished nieces and nephews: Kyle Philip Sieglein (wife, Alexandra Jane and their son, Leo Jackson), Haley Jocken Sieglein, Maggy Joan Sieglein, and Anthony Jerome Sieglein.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps in the early 1970s and later transferred to the United States Navy, a chapter of his life that reflected his dedication, discipline, and sense of duty.
He found great joy at the beach, especially in Ocean City, a place that brought him peace and happiness. A passionate sports fan, he proudly supported the Washington Capitals, Baltimore Orioles, and Baltimore Ravens.
A self-taught guitarist, he loved sharing his music and often hosted get-togethers where he performed for family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with loved ones over trivia games, laughter, and friendly competition.
Above all, he will be remembered for his love of family, his generous spirit, and the memories he created with those closest to him.
He will be forever loved and never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Graveside Service at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075 on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 11:00am.
