To the Family of Mr Teddy ,
May God give you Strength for the process of remembrance just be assured Mr Ted will be Smiling and Watching Over you. Be Blessed and May God forever fulfill your Heart with His Love.

Genuine, honest, trustworthy, told it to you straight, you knew Teddy wasn't going to lie to you, you knew he wasn't going to take advantage of you, he would listen,  he talked as much with his expressions and body as much as his words.  Today, my words fall short of the man you had to experience to know.  Simply, Teddy treated you like you were his Family and you were his friend.  I can remember the strees over plumbing my Mom and Dad felt back when I was a boy and a man from Roto-Rooter came to the house (I  often wondered if it was Teddy because there was something firmiliar with the nice way we were treated and thoughtfully cared for) he gave my brother and I  dividing rods  ...we were "helping."   Later in life  I came to work here at RR because of the quality of character  I experienced all those years ago. Teddy was always there to help, to let me in early or late, and there with that great smile of his...he made you feel the way you would want to feel...listened to, loved, profesional, capable, genuine, well cared for...to me Teddy was a little bit of my heaven on earth.  So my prayer  today  is to treat others as I learned from Teddy. 

God grant you the peace  and heavenly rest as you have brought onto so many  other all your days.

Thank you Teddy for your example and friendship.

Uncle Ted,

We will forever cherish all the moments shared with you. Holidays, birthdays, family gatherings and all the in between were always better with you in company. You will forever be my favorite uncle and we are all thankful to have had you in our lives.

I had the pleasure of working with Ted at Roto-Rooter since 1995. Ted set the example for me on work ethic, pride in workmanship, customer satisfaction, and appreciation for the privilege it was to work for a great company.

While I have moved around Roto-Rooter to different markets and roles, I have carried his example and legacy with me. I have told "Teddey" stories to hundreds of employees who never had the pleasure to meet him. I have Ted with me everyday and I hope to continue to make him proud  by keeping his values alive in me and Roto-Rooter.

Rest in peace Teddey. You were a good man.

I will miss my grandfather dearly. I am so happy to have had the time I did with him. He was with me on some of the biggest days of my life, like both of my college graduations and my wedding, and I couldn't be more grateful for that. He welcomed my husband into the family with open arms and was always happy to spend time with us. I will cherish the memories I have with him for the rest of my life. Rest in peace Grandad. I love you and miss you. 

I met Teddy for the first time in October of 1995 when I started working for the Baltimore Branch of Roto-Rooter. Back then Teddey was still on the road snaking drains and jetting. He was very knowledgeable about plumbing and took pride in his work.  Teddey was always willing to share his knowledge and little tricks of the trade he had learned over the years. I had a lot of great conversations with Ted during the 25 years we worked together and not all of them had to do with plumbing. He was a wonderful friend and coworker. I will miss him very much.




I am so sorry to hear that "POP" has passed away. All of Yvette's buddies at JHBMC have been hearing about him for years.

I have no words to explain what this good man became to me, in what now seems to be far too little time with him. We talked together like men talk to other men, about anything, with a clarity and honesty that you get only from those who are genuinely your friends. This iswhat "Ted" meant to me, and I am and will always be grateful for knowing him. 

Yvette, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.  I enjoyed your Pop stories over the years.  My sympathies and prayers for you and your family.

Every summer when I was growing up, I spent the summers with uncle Teddy.  We always went camping , my favorite part of camping was hanging at the club house.. Uncle Teddy was like a second father to me.

Mr Teddey was such an awesome person to sit and talk to at work.  Lots of long conversations about random topics that I will always remember and cherish.

I first met Teddy in 1982. He had his cowboy hat and boots. People like Teddy made Roto-Rooter an American success story.  He genuinely cared about his fellow employees and customers alike. 
I know Roto-Rooter was a big part of his life, and he was a big part of Roto-Rooter and still is. Teddy was a good man and a friend. 
Teddy, I thank you and miss you.

The times I spent with Pop were always fun and entertaining.  He was quite the character.  The first time I met him I realized almost all of Yvette’s expressions and mannerisms came from him.  

It would take a full house to beat that pair.

Pop was genuinely connected to his family and friends and will be missed by all.

Pop! What an incredible man! Our hearts are heavy with this fresh loss but our memories burn strong! He became a surrogate father and grandfather for us and treated us as his family over the past 20 years. My life is fuller since I had a chance to know and spend time with this man. I am thankful we were able to host you for the holidays and just “time away.” My boys will always remember playing games and giggling with him. Chad and I enjoyed our chats in the living room and simply being together. I will miss you, Pop! You are at peace and resting easy now . 💔❤️
