William "Bill" Henry Winn

On Monday, April 7, 2014 William "Bill" Henry Winn, 84, Longtime resident of Linthicum Heights, MD, died at his Morningside House of Friendship apartment in Hanover, MD. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy "Dot" Winn, his parents, Henry and Louise Winn of Danville, VA. and his 3 sisters; Thelma, Lois and Marion. He is survived by his 3 children: Debbie McCoil and her husband Mac, Sally Pennington and her husband Larry and Mark Stauffer and his fiance' Toni Potter, 6 grandchildren; Michele, Kimberley, Jeremiah, Lyndsay, Nick and Madison and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins in Virginia and North Carolina and a sister-in-law; Betty Gallion and her family.

Bill graduated from Virginia Polytech Institute in 1951. He was employed by Westinghouse for 41 years as a fellow engineer in aerospace electronic mechanical engineering. His greatest love was his family. Bill also enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with his beloved shitzus and his cockateel, Vegas.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off Rt. 100) on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 12:30 till the start of the Funeral Service at 1:30 pm. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
