Brent Allan Sny, 53 of Ellensburg, WA passed away unexpectedly on the morning of April 9, 2017. Brent was born to Paul and Judy Sny (Quicksall) on June 2, 1963. He was one of three children that grew up in Ellensburg.
Brent loved to spend time with his family. He was the first one to help out and make life better for his family. No matter what crazy project or trouble his children, Haley and Briley, came up with he was there to help and support them. He was quick to give advice even if his children didn't always listen. Brent looked for any excuse to hang out with his grandson, Brently. He loved being a Poppa and was always finding a new toy or outfit for his grandson. Brently knew that he had Poppa wrapped around his finger. When everyone else said "no" to a treat, Poppa always came through with a frosted animal cookie. He loved to travel with his wife, Heidi, and always said "that any weekend out of Ellensburg, was a good weekend." He had almost every weekend planned for him and Heidi to visit someplace new, preferably close to a bowling alley. Sitting by the ocean or the pool, with a drink in his hand was one of his favorite places to be.
Brent is survived by his wife of 29 years, Heidi (Hutchinson), children, Haley (Tyler) Redlin and Briley (Brooklyn) Sny and grandson, Brently William Sny, parents, Paul and Judy Sny, Father and Mother-in-Law, Jim and Helen Hutchinson, sister LeAnn (Ken) Hillbery, brother Ken (Betty) Sny, as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life (open house) will be held Saturday, April 15th from 1-3 at the Moose Lodge, 301 W 4th Avenue in Ellensburg. In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe account has been set up in Brent's name to benefit his grandchild's education.
