Ethel Mae Emmott Schaubel, 93, of Ellensburg died Thursday, April17, 2014. Mrs. Schaubel was born in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She and her husband owned one of the first rental car companies in Hawaii. In 1949 she returned to Lake Oswego. She owned three beauty salons in the Portland area.
Survivors include two sons, Grey Elliot of Pendleton, Oregon., and Ian Elliot of Ellensburg; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Memorial Day weekend in the Pioneer Cemetery in Lake Oswego. Arrangements are by Steward and Williams Tribute Center in Ellensburg.
