Raquel Rios-Tamez-Arellano

On Friday, April 11, 2014, Raquel Rios Tamez Arellano died in her home. The loving Mother had been battling squamous cell carcinoma for almost three years. Raquel suffered a lot during those years and her family knows she is in a better place now. At the age of 38Raquel leaves a husband, two daughters and a son. Gone from us too soon, the Arellano Family would like to invite friends and family from her Yakima and Ellensburg Community to say "good-bye" as they have arranged two days to view her body before cremation. The viewings will take place Tuesday, April 22 and Wednesday, April 23 from 1 to 5pm both days at Steward & Williams Tribute Center located in Ellensburg. “Remember me as I was, not as I am.” One of Raquel’s last wishes. A celebration of Raquel's life will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 4-10 p.m. at 1711 Birchfield Road, Yakima, Washington. Parking is limited, and there is no parking on the street. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Steward & Williams Tribute Center, Ellensburg, Washington.
