

Anthony (Tony) Cirranello, 83, born in Bayonne, NJ passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Pahoa, Hawaii. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Frances (Mosca) Cirranello, his brother Neil in 2010 and his loving wife of 58 years, Renee Cirranello, in 2017.
Tony played football for Bayonne High School with his brothers Giro and Neil.
His excellence in football was what guided his early years. He played for the U.S. Army while stationed in Berlin, Germany in the early 60’s where he met his wife, Renee. Tony and Renee lived in Bayonne NJ for several years in the mid-1960’s, and ultimately settled in Lakewood, NJ for many years where they raised their two children. He was a skilled carpenter and builder his whole life. In 1989 they built their dream home and moved to Millstone, New Jersey where they lived for 10 years before retiring to Parrish, Florida in 2000.
He is survived by his brother Giro, his daughter, Francesca (Donald) Ripple and his son Tony (Andrea) Cirranello; his grandchildren, Mark (Jacque) Dickson, Rochester, MN, and Morgan (Ryan) Hamby, parents of his two very loved great-grandchildren, Rayne and Piper, Cape Canaveral, FL.
His last years were filled with many people who loved him. He enjoyed many hours of playing chess and pool as much as possible with his family and friends.
