

Arlene Laudani, 78, of Ellenton, FL passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2025, following a several month battle with cancer that she fought bravely and courageously.
Arlene was born in Lawrence, MA and lived most of her life in Methuen, MA, Plaistow, NH until moving to Florida to live near family. She is the daughter of the late Fred and Christine (DeFusco) Laudani. Besides her parents, Arlene is predeceased by her sister, Constance J. Laudani, and her niece, Kristine A. McGlinchey.
She attended and graduated from Lawrence High School and then worked as an Executive Secretary at Raytheon Corporation for her career until her retirement. She made many friends from Raytheon that she remained in touch with until her passing.
Her passions include baking, shopping, and going out for dinner with her family, but the most important part of her life was her family. She could always be counted on to be there and help with her parents, sister, nieces and nephews. She also was “Auntie” to many that were her extended family.
She is survived by her niece, Karen A. Porciello of Parrish, FL; her nephew David P. and Jennifer McGlinchey of Quincy, MA as well as her great nephew Christopher G. and Claudia Porciello, and family of Parrish, FL. In addition, she is survived by many close cousins in MA and FL. She will be deeply missed and always remembered by her family and her many close friends and relatives.
The family would like to give special thanks to the entire staff at The Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL where she received outstanding care and compassion. The staff was extraordinarily kind, helpful and caring to not only Arlene but to her entire family as well.
At Arlene’s request, there are no services. She will be laid to rest at the Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, FL.
