David Oxendine, age 79, of Palmetto, FL went to be with his Lord on July 30, 2017. He was a member of the RiverLife Church in Bradenton, FL and also enjoyed fishing in his free time. He is survived by his loving wife Annie Oxendine, of 55 years; his daughter Marlene (Frank) Bielawski; his three grandchildren David, Jarrett (Cierra), and Jacob Bielawski; one great-grandson Greyson Bielawski; four brothers; and his four sisters all from North Carolina. A Celebration of Life service will be held at RiverLife Church, 1012 57th St East Bradenton, FL 34208 on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 6 PM. Cremation arrangements are entrusted with Groover Funeral Home, Ellenton, FL. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to Tidewell Hospice House of Ellenton, or the RiverLife Church in Bradenton, FL.
