

Debra Jean Edenfield, also known as Debby, passed away on January 26, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida. She was born on July 8, 1958, in Long Beach, CA to Wallace and Etta Jean Lawrence. Debby, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories.
Debby is survived by the love of her life and devoted husband, Chris L. Edenfield. She was a beloved mother to her sons, Jason L. Pearson (wife Julee) and Mark A. Pearson (wife Tammy), and her daughter, Jessica Longpre (husband Travis). Debby’s grandchildren, Britnee Parker, Taylor Pearson, Montana Kinard, Bryan Pearson, Jason L. Pearson, Jr., and Trenton Longpre brought immense joy to her life. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Casey Parker, Sadie Parker, and Kimber Kinard. Debby also held a special place in her heart for her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will always remember her fondly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George Lawrence and Jim Lawrence; and sister, Eugenia Brewer.
Debby held a successful career in Property Management for various condo associations in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Her dedication and professionalism garnered the respect of her colleagues, clients, and residents.
In her free time, Debby found solace in reading and the arts. She had a deep appreciation for literature and enjoyed immersing herself in the written word. Her love for books allowed her to explore different worlds and expand her knowledge.
A memorial service to celebrate Debby’s life will be scheduled at a later date. The details of the service will be announced by the family in due course.
Debra Jean Edenfield will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kind heart, unwavering love, and gentle spirit will forever be cherished. May she rest in eternal peace.
