Eunice Parrish Moore

Eunice Mabel Parrish Moore was born October 4, 1926, and passed into glory on August 3, 2024; she was 97 years old. She leaves behind three children, Curt Kellenberger (Lisa), Carol Schoff (Tom), and Jan Leda; grandchildren in order of age, Kristina Schramm (Jimmy), Sarah Beasley, Curt Leda (Jenna), Robert Kellenberger, Lindsay Polihronopolos, Clayton Kellenberger, and Emma Kellenberger. She was preceded in death by her brother, S.O Parrish, her grandson, CJ Leda, her son-in-law, Mike Leda, her sister, Juanita Hinton, her eldest son, Robert Kellenberger, and her daughter-in-law, Margaret Kellenberger. Eunice also has 10 great grandchildren: Nick Schramm, Tyler Schramm, Aiden Potter, Aiden Luce, Elijah Luce, Manny Cruz, Jr., Michael Leda, Everleigh Luce, Lena Cruz, and Claire Leda.

Eunice was a Parrish, FL native, whose great-grandfather, Crawford Parrish, was whom the town of Parrish, FL was named for. She graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL and had a long career as a gemologist/diamond consultant for The Hecht Company and Best Products. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and First Baptist Church of Parrish.

She loved and supported her family fiercely and we are heartbroken over her passing. She leaves a legacy of love and sacrifice that carries on in her family. No longer does she suffer the ravages of Alzheimer’s Disease. She is with Jesus now, for which we celebrate, and look forward to being with her again one day! All praise, honor, and glory be to God our Father, through Jesus Christ His Son and our Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit which lives within us.

Funeral services will be handled by Groover’s Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, FL and held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Parrish at 11:00 a.m.; Rev. Joe Skidmore officiating. Interment will be at Fortner Cemetery, Parrish, FL, officiated by Pastor Patrick Poock.
