John Granade Cochran, age 50, of Palmetto, Florida, born January 21, 1964, in Bradenton, Florida. John was a son of the late James and Shirley Cochran. John grew up in Manatee County. He attended Manatee High School. He attended USF receiving a BS in Social Studies and Elementary Education.
Surviving is his wife of 18 years, Juana (Rose) Rosalinda Cochran; his sister, Teri Denton Sipko of Bradenton and a brother, Bo Cochran of Ashburn, Virginia. He leaves behind 18 nieces and nephews, 24 great-nieces and nephews and 4 great-great-nieces and nephews. John also leaves behind countless friends who will truly miss him.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 28, 2014, at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park between 5-7pm. A Celebration if John's life will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at at 11am, Groover Funeral Home. Interment will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
