Marcy Camp was born to Don and Sandra Camp at Manatee Memorial Hospital on March 12, 1971. She went to Heaven April 1, 2022, at Tidewell Hospice. Marcy was preceded in death by Father Don Camp, Stepfather Fred Foght, and nephew Timothy Camp.
Marcy attended Palmetto High Scholl and Emory University. She was Baptist by faith and knew Jesus Christ as her Savior. Marcy loved the beach, nature, and butterflies. She also loved lilies and growing plants in the house. Marcy enjoyed scented candles, rainy days, and a good book. She was a dedicated GA Bulldog fan as well as being a huge Bucs fan.
Marcy was a very caring and compassionate person who always put others first. Even when she was having a bad day medically, she was always worried about the well-being of others who might be having trouble themselves. Marcy just loved people and got much joy from helping others and being a blessing to them. She loved her family and was a very loyal friend. She will be dearly missed by many.
Marcy is survived by her Mother Sandra Foght and Stepmom Judy Camp, Fiancé Shawn Thompson, and Daughters Mara (Josh) Dickenson, Riley Thompson, and Lea Thompson. Brothers Brian (Janie) Camp, Brent Camp, Todd (Tina) Camp, Troy (Theresa) Camp, Robby (Tara) Tatum, Kim (Paige) Tatum and Mike (Tanya) Tatum. Numerous cousins and extended family.
