After graduating from Marlborough High School, in 1946, she attended UCLA, where she met and married Harrison (Bill) Walker Williams. They had two sons, Edward Harrison and William Dennison and celebrated 4 years of marriage before Bill died in a work-related accident. Angela then met Jack Dixon Scott and married in 1955. They had two daughters, Laurie Anne and Sandra Margarita.
Jack and Angela raised their family in San Marino where they lived for 45 years before moving to Rancho Santa Fe in the late 90s.
In addition to her children, Angela is survived by 5 Grandchildren: Matthew and Molly Churchill, Adam Williams, Jack and Samantha Ullman and 2 Great Grandchildren; Charlotte and Camden Churchill, her brother, Tom Adams, and her dear friend and assistant, Ernestina Tamayo who lived with and cared for her for over 45 years.
Angela, a 9th generation Los Angelean, was affiliated with First Families of California, and a Southern California Blue Book Member She was involved in many philanthropic organizations including Las Madrinas, the Pasadena Assistance League, Mayfield’s Sisters of the Holy Cross and Christ Child Society of Pasadena. Her favorite pastimes were traveling the world with Jack, bridge with the Affordables and Christ Child and dominos with friends at the beach house in Del Mar
She was a kind, generous, and fun filled mother who loved nothing more than time spent at the beach house surrounded by her kids and grandkids. She was the mother that all of our friends wished they’d had. Those of us who knew her will cherish the memories we have of her and will miss her smile and laughter.
A service will be held on Friday November 10 at 10am at St. James Church in Solana Beach, 625 Nardo Ave, Solana Beach CA 92075 followed by a celebration of life to follow at the Scott residence. In lieu of flowers, Angela would welcome any donations to be sent to Wounded Warriors and/or the ASPCA.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.encinitaschapel.com for the Scott family.
