Louise P. Conover Selvage, 97, of Venice, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 19, 1927, in Princeton, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn Conover. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 50 years, Ora Selvage; one son, Lee Selvage; three sisters, Evelyn, Lorraine, and Dorothy; four brothers, Walter, Arthur, Smitty, and Billy.
She is survived by three children, Janet Selvage of Venice, FL; Brenda Mayer of Venice, FL; and Danny Selvage of Beauty, Kentucky; one sister, Emily Conover Bonfonti of Hamilton Township, New Jersey; six grandchildren: Robert Tiedemann, Tina Villacis, Michael Whyno, Robert (Barb) Whyno, Shawn Selvage, and Leejay Selvage; five great-grandchildren: John Tapp, Steve Coudillo, Charlie Harris, Jake Whyno, and Tyler Whyno; special sister in law Lorraine Doderer; and Special niece, Patricia Marcum; and several other nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, from 11:00 am. to 1:00 p.m.. at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 1935 Tamiami Trail South, Venice, FL 34293. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park.
