Asuncion Iris Rios

RIOS, Asuncion Iris, 77 formally of Brooklyn, NY of Dayton, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 4, 2017. Iris was born August 15, 1939 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, daughter of Leocadio and Ana (nee Lopez) Feliciano who predecease her. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Diana I. Torres of Cincinnati, three granddaughters Rachel Elam, Iris Mattingly, Melanie Hernandez, three great-grandchildren Danny and Bryce Elam and Kyliana Mattingly. Also surviving are her brother Juan Antonio Feliciano of Brooklyn, NY, 2 nieces Kenia Lugo of FL, Sandra Gruberman of CA, 4 nephews Hector Davila of CA, Ronald Woodhull, Jeremy and Anthony Feliciano of NY, 3 best friends Alfie Rivera of FL, Iris Pinero of NY, Aida Rosario. Iris was a Para-professional educator, teaching Special Education for 29 years in the NYC School System. She loved shopping and traveling with family and friends.
