Clemons Lay

LAY, Clemons 84 of Union went to be with his Lord with his beloved wife June and family at his side, Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Clemons is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Lola “June” (nee Ellis) Lay, four children and their spouses Lois and Terry Stout of Batavia, IL, Mike and Andrea Lay of Raleigh, NC, John and Shelia Lay of Bradenton, FL, Sue and Tom Gauvey of West Milton; 7 grandchildren Jason Lay of Angier, NC, John Lay of Kettering, Jennifer Gauvey of Dayton, Jacob Lay of Bradenton, FL, Amanda Lay of Raleigh, NC, Summer Thiede of West Milton, Colin Lay of Raleigh, NC; 9 great-grandchildren. Clemons first and foremost enjoyed his family, he also enjoyed fishing and golf and was a great story teller, he also enjoyed all forms of car racing especially Eldora Speedway. His family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road Friday morning, February 17, 2012 starting at 11:00 AM followed by a celebration of his life at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ivan Shawver presiding, burial will follow in Minnich Cemetery, Union, Ohio. “I Love Ya Darlin”.
