

QVICK, Jerrold Lee “Jerry”, 76 of Dayton, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 8, 2015 at home with his family at his side. Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 34 years Patricia (nee Weldy) Qvick; two sons Christopher Lieurance, Todd Qvick. Also surviving are three brothers, Jack Qvick, Ted Qvick, Steve and Patty Qvick, sister, Brenda and Robert Wooden, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Gladys (nee Miller) Qvick and one brother Phillip Qvick. He had worked at GHR Foundry, BeAmCo (Beaver Vu Bowl and Medway Lanes) for many years and Emery Air Freight. Jerry was a proud member of Millennium Lodge #779 F & AM, AASR Valley of Dayton, Harvest Chapter #564 OES. He also played hockey with the Dayton Gems and, enjoyed bowling, golf and riding his Harley. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road from 5 to 8 pm. A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be 11:00 am Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor John Manley presiding. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
