Paul A Ford

Ford, Paul Allen, age 61, of Englewood, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2015, in Brookville, Ohio with family. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 13, 1953, the son of Glenn Alden and Genevieve (White) Ford, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by a sister Darlene Sue (Ford) Purk. Paul is survived by: his ex-wife Lora Sue (Butterbaugh) Ford of Englewood, Ohio. 2 sons: Derrick Alden Ford spouse Sarah with Paul’s 2 grandchildren Zachary Allen and Chase Alden of Whitestown, Indiana; Nathan Douglas Ford of Englewood, Ohio. 3 brothers: Richard Gibbel spouse Barb of West Milton, Ohio; Robert Edward Ford Spouse Joann of Enon, Ohio; Glenn Alden Ford Spouse Becky of New Lebanon, Ohio. 1 sister: Carol Ann (Ford) Spouse Paul Sowders of Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Paul dedicated 38 years to the Kroger Company, retiring in February 2012. Because of his steady career, he was able to provide for his family, rearing two successful children. Paul was a wonderful father and great friend to many, including Bill W for over 34 years. He also enjoyed the outdoors, collegiate and professional basketball, and loving his family. The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton and the Brookhaven Rehabilitation Unit Staff that tended to Paul’s care. Their dedication made his stay enjoyable and his last days peaceful. Paul’s celebration of life will be held at 4:00-6:00 pm with a memorial service starting at 6:00 pm on Friday June 12, 2015 at the Tobias Funeral Home Englewood chapel, 675 West Wenger Road, Englewood, Ohio 45322.
