Haver vivido y compartido con el siempre fue y sera algo que llevare conmigo por el rresto de mi vida, fueron tantas cosas de las cuales podiamos platicar y aunque tambien habia puntos de vista diferentes nos entendiamos muy bien y saber que tanto el como yo sentiamos un aprecio muy grande el uno para el otro es algo que siempre guardare como un tesoro pues habia cosas que solo el y yo sabiamos de lo que platicabamos y eso nunca lo olvidare, todo eso que vivi al estar serca de el vivira conmigo por siempre

Tío fue muy bonito compartir risas bromas y chistes con usted. en muy poco tiempo aprendí a quererlo apreciarlo y respetarlo. Me dejo una enseñanza cuando me dijo yo estoy feliz ya me Bautise Jeova esta con migo, el me ayuda, Tío Dejo de vivir entre nosotros pero siempre vivirá en nuestras mentes y nuestros Corazones se que un día nos vamos a encontrar para disfrutar los tacos de cachete que tanto le gustan Att su sobrino Favorito

We meet Don Alberto while we were studying with Lorena a few years ago, it didn’t take long for us to make a friendship and only got stronger and full of love, to the point that the friendship turned into being part of a family! Going outside with him and teaching me about his goats and chickens, to stories about his earlier days were always fascinating and entertaining. His love for his kids and grandkids was so deep and pure and you could feel it! A big smile on his face every time he saw us, that smile we will never forget. Our kids loved him very much and got to visit everytime they could! Our daughter loved reading the daily text as much as she could in Spanish, We will be truly missed, until we see him again in paradise. Love you Don Alberto, I owe you another mariachi set in paradise!!🥰

I didn’t know him too well but I wish that I did. It seems like he was a really great man and will be missed by a lot of people. ❤️ The memory I do have of him is that he was very welcoming when I went to his home and he was kind enough to show me his goats & chickens. He even sent me home with some fresh eggs which was kind for someone he had just met. I’m joyful to hear that he was baptized and saved because we will all have the opportunity to see him again one day in paradise and it will give me another chance to get to know my husbands grandpa on a more personal level. Sending all my love to his family and keeping you all in my prayers 🙏🏼

It was truly an honor and blessing from Jehovah to meet and get to know Alberto over the years.   I met him first through his daughter Lorena and as her love for Jehovah grew over so did Alberto's. It was so joyous to see his love and his zeal for his God move him to symbolize his dedication alongside Lorena just over one year ago. He was witty and kind, with a huge heart for his loving family. I am looking forward to the time we welcome him back with the health and vigor of his youth in the paradise conditions we were meant to enjoy! I know he will be excited to enjoy all his favorite foods as well! ❤

El amor que Alberto demostraba para Jehová y su familia siempre era sobresaliente. Aun bajo su condición de salud, estaba presente con los demás hermanos. Para nosotros, los mantendremos en nuestra memoria hasta el día en que nuestro dios le regrese la vida. Que Jehová les de la fortaleza a toda la familia durante este tiempo tan difícil, teniendo siempre presente la esperanza de llegar a ver nuestro hermano de nuevo. Sinceros abrazos y están en nuestras oraciones. Dios no se olvida de sus siervos fieles y estamos seguros que Alberto alegro el corazón de Jehová. Que la paz de Jehová este con toda la familia!

Still very surreal for me to say and to wrap my head around. I can still hear him saying “oh really” or “enfadosa or ay viene la loca”. He liked to call me enfadosa or loca cause I’d annoy him all day long with my dancing, singing, talking, and pushing him to take his meds. But I didn’t mind, it meant I was doing my job. As kids we don’t appreciate our grandparents, as we get older we realize that they are the most precious gift and they are the reason we are here today. I had the privilege of caring for my grandpa whenever I could and was possible. We would cook breakfast together every morning when I’d stay over, and he’d get mad at me and then we would eat breakfast and then he’d be ok. I have a bittersweet memory that forever let me see the strength he had and how strong his faith in Jehovah was. He has just had a stroke and wasn’t feeling well that day. Shortly after having breakfast he starting feeling off. He passed out and was in and out of consciousness. He scared the life out of me. I dialed 911 and needed to walk away as I got panicked and was in shock at what just happened. I couldn’t stop crying and was feeling like I couldn’t breathe. As the paramedics arrived, my grandpa appeared to be fine. He looks at me and laughs and says “why are YOU crying? It happened to me. I should be crying. But look at me I’m fine. Jehovah is with me, he took care of me” and I laughed. That was him, that was my grandpa. It amazed me how he recovered from that stroke. He never gave up. He always had stories to tell or advice for me, and man did I enjoy our talks... even though I always did most of the talking (which is why my nickname was enfadosa lol) I didn’t mind that nickname I knew he meant it out of love. He didn’t know how to express it and that was his best way. The wit, the humor, the positivity and faith/hope he had was one of a kind. He made every situation positive and even though he had his moments like every imperfect human he knew God had his back.

I’d love to add his loyalty and dedication to Jehovah till the end is admirable and a example to follow. Despite his condition he attended his meetings and always kept serving Jehovah one way or another however he could possible. In moments of dispare, it with him who lifted me up.. seeing him in pain hurt me but he always reminded me of Jehovah’s promise. I’m at peace  knowing you are no longer in pain and resting like you wished for, for so many years. I’m glad when I see you again you’ll finally be reunited with the love of your life like you anticipated so much. I’ll see you again in paradise, waiting by a tree with grandma, arms open wide to embrace eachother again. I can’t wait to hear you call me enfadosa again. You are safe in Jehovah’s memory for now. I love you and miss you so much grandpa. ❤️ until we meet again.  “For we are saved in this hope; but hope that is seen is not hope, for when a man sees a thing, does he hope for it? But if we hope for what we do not see, we keep eagerly waiting for it with endurance.” Romans 8:24. 

The short time I was your nurse, your smile and lust for life made me appreciate mine all the more.  Your spirit will forever love and protect your family.  You taught me that things are not always what they seem.  Much love and respect, Jennifer, your LVN.💝

One of my very favorite patients.  While I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with Alberto and the time I did spend with him was when he wasn’t at his best and in the hospital he still had a way of touching my heart.  So sweet and so kind.  I would walk in every morning and say, “Hola Guapo” and he would always say, “Gracias por la guapo”   There was a few times where he would refuse to take meds or to eat and as soon as he heard my voice I could get him to do anything, I started joking with him telling him he was “my novio” and he would always smile and give me besos, he even sang to me a few times.  There are just some patients that stay with you forever and Alberto and his family are definitely one of them.   Such a wonderful man with such a sweet and kind heart and a wonderful loving family.  I am sharing one of my favorite pictures of the two of us.  This pic was taken just after he had sang to me.
