Allen Lee Rollins

Allen Lee Rollins passed away April 24, 2012. Born March 17,1934 in St. Louis,MO. Son of Perry Guy Rollins and Mary Lavene Clark. Graduated from Bunker High School in Bunker,MO 1952. He joined the Navy in May of 1953 and served on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Kearsarge until May of 1961. While home on leave in 1953 he met and courted his eternal love, Lola Mae Joiner. They were married in September of 1955, and were forever joined in holy matrimony until Lola passed away in March of 2011. They were married fifty-five years.After marriage Allen attended Pacific States College and graduated with a B.S. degree in electronic engineering. He worked for the telephone company, General Precision (Kearfott Devision), NCR, and Cubic in San Diego.

Allen is survived by his mother-in-law, Mary Kirby; sister,Jo Clark; sons Guy and Brian; Daughter-in-law,Leann; grand-children Jennifer Collins,William Tyr Rollins,Meagan and Katie Rollins; great-grandchildren Allen and Brianna Collins; sister in law, Bonnie Pohl; brother in law, Dennis Joiner and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved cat Hercules.
