Bobby Glenn Murders

He is survived by his loving wife Lani; his sons Michael, Gabe and Gus; his daughter Michelle; and his 8 grandchildren, Garrett, Sean, Chris, Chambrea, Bailey, Dylan, Leina and Lillian.

No finer man has ever graced the lives of so many family and friends than has Bob Murders, my husband. His devotion to others began as a young man of 16 who went to work to support his mother and siblings at the sudden death of their father. He went on to marry and raise a family of devoted children of his own. After caring for their mother until her early passing at age 42, he continued to be the perfect example of a loving father to his son and daughter. Later, we met and fell in love, and he began another caretaking role as my husband and second father to my two sons. Our wonderful 30 years together produced a large and loving legacy to him, including eight wonderful grandchildren. Bob was the patriarch of our family, the man we all looked up to, admired, and loved very much.

An avid Charger and Padre fan, Bob also loved his Tuesday golf games with his dear friends. He took woodworking classes and created family heirlooms for us all. He loved traveling and camping in our RV. His life was a very full and happy one, and the vacuum he has created in all of our lives will always be felt. As a Christian, Bob studied his Bible and followed his Lord every day of his life. He is with our dear Lord Jesus even now, receiving the many blessings he so deserves. I look forward to our reunion in Heaven, when we will see each other again in the Light of Christ’s presence and love. I love you, Bobby.
