David Michael Hawthorne

David Michael Hawthorne was born March 4, 1970 in San Diego, CA to Paul & Oleta Faye (Galloway) Hawthorne. He was a fun loving person who loved his family and friends. An accomplished skier, David was a ski instructor and once practiced and had tryouts with the US Olympic Ski Team at Mount Bachelor, Oregon.

David wed Sherry Corduan in 1990 and had two beautiful children, David Michael Hawthorne, Jr. and Kacie Lynn Hawthorne.

David loved sports and music. He attended many concerts, especially his favorite band, Rush. He loved Football, Baseball, Golf, and Nascar. He was an accomplished baseball and football player while growing up and has many trophies. David also loved his cat “Willow” very much.

He grew up in San Diego, CA and Lake Oswego, OR. He had such a love for Oregon that he moved back to Oregon in the 1990’s for a few years living in Bend before returning to San Diego. David worked at several ski resorts and for his Dad at Hawthorne Machinery Co. and later at Toolshed Equipment Rental.

David is survived by his children, David Stull and Kacie Hawthorne, both of Bellingham, WA, parents, Paul & Faye Hawthorne, brother, J. Paul Hawthorne, sister, Lisa Hawthorne, and nephew James G. Hawthorne, all of Escondido, CA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout the United States.
