Deborah Debbie Ann Marandino

Deborah "Debbie" Ann Marandino was born at West Jersey Hospital in Camden, NJ on July 23, 1958 to Mary and Fred Gray. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, had chubby little cheeks and beautiful smooth skin.

At six months old she moved to a large house with a big yard on Rogers Avenue in Pennsauken, NJ where she lived for the next 19 years. Her best friend Patricia lived next door. Debbie attended kindergarten through sixth grade at Collins Tract Elementary School; seventh and eighth grades at St. Peter's Catholic School, Pennsauken Junior High for ninth grade then finally to Pennsauken High School until graduation.

She attended Palomar Junior College and graduated with a degree in early child development in 1996. SHe was always interested in working with young children. She got her start by working in a church nursery and daycare when she was 18.

Her parents seperated and then divorced in 1967. Her brother Fred Gray Jr. was born in 1962. Debbie had always wanted a little brother, until she had one. He used to spy on here and she did not like it.

She, her mom and brother moved from their home in Pennsauken to Audubon Park, NY in 1977. There she met and married George West in 1979. Eric George West was born Nov. 15, 1980. Debbie and George seperated in 1984. She moved to Oceanside, CA in 1985. Her brother was also living there. She met and began dating Luca Marandino shortly after her arrival to California. She divorced George, and Debbie and Luca were married. Their first child Guiseppe Luca was born on August 18, 1988. Second child, Nicole Ann Marie was born October 18, 1990.

Debbie loved butterflies and hummingbirds. She found much pleasure in watching them fly. She enjoyed traveling, watching the Food Network and listening to music. A few of her favorites include Elton John and The Rolling Stones. She could watch the movie "Independence Day" over and over, never tiring of it. Debbie was a fun loving lady who will be deeply missed.
