Auntie Lita, we thank you for your never ending love for us, your family. And you believed so much in family. You always believed in each and every one of us. You always prayed for us. You always smiled even when you had illness and pain. The power of prayer and positivity has illumined your life and the life of all that you talked to. Your generous spirit and hospitality was endless. I remembered being hosted in your home in Calapan and in San Diego and just feeling so at home.
When it comes to cherishing memories, you are number one. We turn to your treasure of photos for all the family memories. You have all these because you cherished the special moments and accomplishments of your family and friends. You were always so proud of us. Thank you. I just talked to you on the phone not long ago... I miss you already.
Bye for now, Auntie Lita, beautiful, beloved Auntie and sister in faith. Till we meet again at Jesus’ feet.

How do I distill the life of an exuberant sister who is transparent about her life? I can’t. As Psalms 103:17 says, “But for those who honor the Lord, his love lasts forever, and his goodness endures for all generations.”
Family and friends know everything about her. Lita was our “first responder” when someone needed help or prayers. She connected us. She praised God daily and spread His word. Her loyalty exceeded expectations.
Our family will miss her visits and birthday greetings. I will miss her phone calls and text messages with lots of hearts!
May Lita’s smile be with us all! May her immediate family be comforted, knowing that our “little star” now rests in peace.

Auntie Lita, as I fondly call her is also one of our principal sponsors when I got married(1996). She’s so full of life, she always make sure to look in a positive and bright side of everything. Being prayerful, active member at church and being religious is one of her trademark. One of the people I’ve known who truly “walk his talk” and never judge anybody around her even tho she knew that at that moment she’s being judged.
Am happy that my family had a chance to be reunited with her and uncle Jerry last 2016.
They were able to visit us. We had fun going around Houston and Austin. From then on we always in touched via FB. She’s very thoughtful and never missed any birthdays and milestones of my family to greet us with her effortless picture collage. Auntie Lita, you may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts. May your soul Rest In Peace. We love you. To her immediate family, just know that my family (Jojo Miranda&kids)share in your sadness, I am sending healing prayers and comforting hugs most especially to uncle Jerry.

I remember meeting auntie Lita for the first time 10 years ago and she was full of smiles, really loving big hugs, and I also remember her skin being so beautiful!
I’m so glad I got to see her more after that first visit because her laugh is infectious and she was so kind and caring; always asking about the kids and jared. She also had a fun sense of style!
I remember one time she was visiting my mom’s house and she said she could speak in tongues. I asked her to demonstrate and she did! Her faith and love for God was pure and true and she was an example of it.
She was proud of her family and friends and wanted the world to see and always posted positive things. I loved receiving messages from her. She will be missed dearly💜

Auntie Lita, also our Ninang in our wedding(1996). A very cheerful aunt and always ready to help. I remember back in the days, she’s the one who helped me find prospective clients when I was in Calapan and of course accommodated me during my stay. A prayerful kind of person and very religious one. She practice what she preached and never judge people around her. Life got busy and separated by distance. Good thing last 2016, they came visit us here in Houston and yeah got reconnected again and consistently in touched through FB.
Auntie Lita, we love you and we will forever cherish all the memories we’ve shared along with my family.

Acrostic on the Qualities of My Sister Estrellita Nable Miranda
E - Empathetic - she feels for her parents, siblings, friends - note the testimony of Mina - "She never left us until all the problems ended."
S - Star - Lita had a star on her forehead when she was born. But she fell in Calero stair and had scar on her forehead that covered the little star; nevertheless she remained a shining star in the Perea-Nable family and now she is one of the stars in heaven.
T - Togetherness - Connector or Brings us together in love
R - Radiant - see her aura, even when Jerry drives her to church, her face is smiling and greets people in US and Philippines or other parts of the world. As Adrian Robison says "Auntie Lita wears unique eyeglasses"
E - Engaging - Passionate on issues and life's concern; I remember her chat with Troi Senturias on COVID.
L - Loving - we all experienced this from her.
L - Large-Hearted - Generous - She donated all her inheritance from our great grandfather to give to UCCP Paradahan, in addition to what she and her family contributed.
I - Inspiring - Many people were touched with her sharing in FaceBook
T - Thoughtful - There are many evidence of this trait.
A - Amazing, Adorable, Awesome Achiever - We attended her Chic graduation as a Master and her networking brought her to places like Singapore, Bohol and other places. Passaic ang Glutathione!!!! Just one of those accomplishments.

I will always remember Auntie Lita for her smile, laughter, and innate ability to enliven family gatherings. Her dedication to preserving our collective memories with vast troves of family pictures has brought cohesion and a sense of belonging to our family.
She and Lola have the gift of Narration, and I already miss how both of them can bring our Past back to life through their stories.
I miss you Auntie Lita,
Love Troi
