Mervin Gatliff Williams Jr.

Mervin was an Import business owner for over 25 years. He enjoyed sailing, music, art and reading. Mervin belonged to the Pasadena Rotary Club for more than 20 years.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Yolanda Williams of Rancho Santa Fe; adopted daughter Robyn Groen of La Jolla, CA; Sister Nell Wysocki and Brother David Vaughn Williams (Rhonda) of North Fork, CA; Nephews Parnell, Patrick and Scott Kelley; Grandnephew Ethyn and Grandniece, Pangea. His wife’s family was like his own. He is survived by her sisters Nancy Kennedy and Ruth Osborne; and his mother in law, Espy Whitaker.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 6pm at Funeraria Del Angel McLeod on Thursday, 12/29. A funeral service will be celebrated at 6pm followed by a reception. Interment will be at Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia at 2pm on Friday, Dec. 30. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude’s or the Children’s Ranch Orphanage in Boulder City, NV.
