Bettie was born in San Francisco, CA on May 10, 1929. She died in Eureka, CA on January 13, 2011. She had lived in the community of Fairhaven on the Samoa Peninsula for fifty years prior to moving to Eureka three years ago. Bettie will be remembered by many as the very caring Veterinary Assistant at Broadway Animal Hospital. It was a job that she loved, and held for many years, as animals were very special to her. Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie; her special dog, Buddy; and other family. She is survived by many people who cared deeply for her. At Bettie's request there will be no service.
