Albert E. Grossman

Albert Edward Grossman, 84, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Hamilton Pointe Health and Rehab. He was born March 1, 1932, in Evansville, to the late Edward and Irene (Snow) Grossman.

He was a 1950 graduate of Reitz High School and was employed with Whirlpool for 42 years. He loved his church; Salem Church of Darmstadt, loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters and great-grandbabies and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 61years, Shirley Grossman; son, Terry (Jacky) Grossman; grandchildren, Jamie (Adam) Baumann and Katie (Brian) Smiley; great-grandchildren, Ava, Baron, and Natalie Baumann and Isaac and Christian Smiley; brother, Ronald Grossman; sister, Marilyn Burgdorf, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 10:00AM, Monday, August 29, 2016, at Salem Church of Darmstadt, 14134 Darmstadt Road, officiated by Pastor David Peterson, with burial in Salem Church Cemetery. Friends may visit 2:00 to 7:00PM, Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road.
