Alice Joyce Benningfield

Alice was born on January 4, 1937, in Rockport, IN to the late Hobart and Margaret Daniel. She married Kerney Benningfield in 1955 and together they shared 5 children.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Nancy Gibson (Dave) and Rebecca Klenck, and her sons, Mark Benningfield (Anna) and Scott Benningfield (Lori); step-daughter, Gayla Freer (Joe); and brother, Jerry Daniel.

She leaves behind several grandchildren, David Dix (Tiffany), Matt Gibson, Sara Gibson, Bryan Klenck (Hallie), Stephanie Klenck, Mark Benningfield Jr. (Ashley), Maddie Benningfield, Misty Benningfield, Kristy Benningfield, Chasity Khan, Linsey Hill, Doug Freer, and Cindy Freer. She also leaves behind many great grandchildren.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Kerney Benningfield and her son, Montie Benningfield.

Alice retired from St. Mary's Hospital after over 30 years of service. She lived a fairly simple life; regularly attending Church and staying surrounded by her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A private family funeral service will be held.
