Barbara was a part-time piano teacher and her favorite pastimes were golf, gardening, family, and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2002 and sister, Bonnie Doane.
Barbara is survived by her son, Rodney Buchanan and wife, Regan; grandson, Chris Buchanan; granddaughter, Mandi Buchanan; and sister, Geraldine Allen.
Services will be 12:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2012, at Alexander Memorial Park, Heritage Chapel, officiated by Cynthia Priem with entombment to follow. Friends may visit Friday from 10:30 am until service time at the cemetery chapel.
