Bill Kowalski

Bill Kowalski, 71, of Sturgis, KY, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 in Evansville, IN. He was born in New York City, NY, on January 15, 1947 to the late John L. and Barbara (Harris) Kowalski. Bill moved to Sturgis, Kentucky in 2015 and was a member of the Grangertown Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and helping his friends. He was a fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, in 2003. Bill is survived by his stepson, Pete Van (Nancy); stepdaughter, Kellie Cook; grandson, Brian Pearson; brother, James Kowalski; and sister, Judy Laughead. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Grangertown Baptist Church in Sturgis, KY. Condolences may be offered at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com.
