

Billy was a member of Christ Church UCC, where he was very involved with the Riley Angel Tree Mission. He served as a board member for the Newburgh Festival and Parade and was a former member of the Newburgh Jaycees.
Billy attended North High School, where he was selected Honorary Mayor for the Day in 1965, then ISUE and the University of Wisconsin. He worked at Sterling Brewery and Alcoa, where he created a platinum crucible and holder patent for Alcoa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Fern Gulledge (Ryan) and sister, Karol Richerson.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Underhill); brothers, Charlie Gulledge and family and Frank (Mary) Gulledge and family; daughters, Karol (Jay) Bryant and Kristi (Amjad) Manna; grandchildren, Megan Goldsberry, Jesse Bryant, Taylor Sturm, Noah Manna, and Adam Manna; step-children, Melissa (Tony) Hamilton, Cissy (Joe) Cochenour, and John Stuteville; step-grandchildren, Kody Cain, Bradley Hamilton, Nicholas Cain, Brandon Cain, Heath Cain, Brooke Hamilton and Briley Hamilton; great grandchildren, Savannah Goldsberry, Emily Cowan, Tanner Hamilton, Grace Cain, and Asher Cain.
A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Christ Church UCC, 3601Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714, with Dr. John Charles officiating.
