Bruce retired from Bootz Manufacturing. He loved sports, especially horse racing. His favorite teams included Indiana Hoosiers basketball, Atlanta Braves baseball, and San Francisco 49'ers football.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George C. and Marjorie E. (Hanson) Patton; and sister, Janet Griffin.
Bruce is survived by his brother, Larry Patton (Cindy); brother-in-law, Roger Griffin (Joey); nephew, Matt Griffin; niece, Elizabeth Griffin; and great nephew, Patton Cheeseman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel and Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the cemetery.
