Carla L. Mickens

Carla was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in June of 2013 and fought a hard battle with a positive attitude throughout.

She is survived by her sons, Andrew & Ryan Mickens; daughter-in-law, Brooke Mickens; mother, Agnes Williams of Florida; brother, Wallace Williams of Connecticut; sister, Angie Williams of Georgia; dogs, Bella and Cooper; and many other loving family and friends.

Carla was a caring and dedicated mother who loved teacups, flea markets, and dogs. She was a member and nurse at Memorial Baptist Church in Evansville.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014, beginning promptly at noon at Memorial Baptist Church, 645 Canal St, Evansville, IN 47713, with Rev. Adrian Brooks officiating.
