She was a secretary for many years, first for lawyers and then with Harper Elementary School. She was raised Baptist and then became a Pentecostal and member of Good Shepherd Assembly of God.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Becky (Ron) Wagner of Evansville; grandchildren, Rick (Julie) Wagner, Lana (David) Cason and Deanna (Gary) Phelps; great-grandchildren, Josh (Crissy), Brandon (Amber), Heather (Andy), Angie (Todd), Christy (John), Rusty, Ronnie (Toshie), Mandy, Jessica and Jonathan; 16 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Randy, Keith, Judy, Albert, Jane Ann, Bob, Brian, Jean Doris, Coleen and Jackie.
Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
