Charlene Allen

Charlene Fenwick-Allen...aka Bodie, 64, of Madisonville, KY passed away in her home on June 15, 2024. She was born in Evansville, IN to the late Joseph Floyd & Charlotte Ann Fenwick (Wright) on June 9, 1960.

Charlene married Michael Wayne Allen on March 8, 1980. They shared 2 daughters, NaTosha Allen (Joseph Lofton) & Amanda Allen; grandchildren, Daleante Allen, Alexis Moore, Lexianna, Kahalil Coleman, Joseph Jr and Jacoby Lofton; godchildren, Tiffany, Aaron and Andrew Clark.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Michael Wayne Allen; best friend and second mother, Dorothy Moore; siblings, Sharon Kay Fenwick, Tommy (Debbie~Living) Fenwick, Charles Fenwick, Joann Stewart. Leaving behind sibling's to mourn her is Pamela (David) Hardin, Nancy Phillips, Donna Bradshaw, Janice Fenwick, James (Pam) Fenwick; and several nieces and nephews that she cherished!

Bodie was a head strong, confident outspoken person. She was one of the kindest persons who loved her family and did anything she could for them. She enjoyed playing cards, camping, car races on the weekend, working her puzzles and Sudoku books. Bodie loved to be sitting in the Mountains enjoying the serenity or at the Beach listening to the waves.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN.

Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
