He was a US Army Veteran, serving in the 101st Airborne. He enjoyed spending time with family, flying his private aircraft out of Skylane Airport, playing golf, hunting, fishing and metal detecting. He was a board member of Oak Hill Conversation Club for many years.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Donna Hagenseiker; brother, James Hagenseiker; and sisters, Rachel Logsdon and Marie Adams.
He is survived by his sons, Charles “Scott” Hagenseiker and wife, Shaun, and Greg Hagenseiker and wife, Sharon; daughter, Lynn Curtis and husband, Jerry; sisters, Charlotte Hale and Lillian Jackson; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held with burial in Sunset Memorial Park.
