

He served in the Army during the Korean War. He had worked as a Structural Draftsman for Mesker Steel and Allied Structural Drafting. He enjoyed table tennis and participated in the Senior Olympics. He also enjoyed projects, was good with wood, liked to work crossword puzzles and loved to tell true stories. He was liked by all who met him and loved by all who knew him.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor (Reasor) Pease, on February 28, 2014; son, David Pease; and brother, Raymond Pease.
He is survived by his sons, Randy Pease of New Harmony and Stan Pease of Evansville; daughter, Jan (Jim) Poag of Evansville; grandchildren, Lily Pease and Justin, Jase and Jayda Poag; and sister, Velma Tyler of San Antonio, TX.
Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
