He served his country in the U. S. Army and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Chet is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alene; stepson, Charles Sandefur: and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Park Lawn Cemetery. Flowers, which he loved, may be sent directly there.
