

Clara Louise (Mohr) Johnson, 93, was called home by her Lord and Savior on January 8, where she was reunited with her beloved husband, Charlie. They have been apart since April 1, 2014, but are at last together again.
Clara was born May 29, 1932, the daughter of William and Lorene Flick Mohr. Clara was Baptized, Confirmed, Married and a life member of Zoar UCC.
She was a graduate of Reitz High School, where she was a member of the Junior Honor Society, a member and Past President of Eastern Star, and a member of The Daughters of the Nile, ISIS Temple 41.
Clara enjoyed a long career in Banking, including in Lafayette and Hammond In, and National City Bank of Evansville. Clara and Charlie loved to travel, visiting many places in Europe when he was in stationed in Germany with the Army. Upon retirement, they could be found travelling on their motorcycle, and later in the motorhome. She enjoyed the winters at their retirement home in Redington Beach Fl, walking many miles on the beach, and especially watching the sunsets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Dorothy Hollman and Margaret Brazelton. She is survived by her sister, Mary Sue Harmon (Terrel); brother-in-law, Don Johnson (Sharon); godson, Brian Akin (Mary); goddaughter, Paula Rigling (Mark) of Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 West Illinois Street. Services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive.
